Option A: Mont Boron + Classic Madone

Option A for your ride takes you out of Nice through the beautiful Mont Boron park and up to a 16th century fortress with stunning panoramic views. You’ll then continue climbing to the highest coastal road, the Grande Corniche. The scenic road takes you to the summit of the Col d’Eze and through the village of La Turbie, known for its ancient Roman ruins. A long descent will bring you to the seaside town of Menton, where you begin the iconic Col de la Madone climb. Once at the top, you’ll return to Nice via the Grande Corniche.

Option B: Col d'Eze + Madone via Peille

Option B takes you on the classic Col d’Eze climb from Nice, often part of the Paris-Nice race finale and also featured in the Tour de France. From there, you’ll continue along the Grande Corniche to La Turbie, where you’ll begin your climb to the Col de la Madone (not as steep as the classic seaside approach from Menton). On your way down, you’ll pass by the beautiful perched villages of Sainte Agnès and Gorbio before returning to Nice via the coastal road and through the Principality of Monaco.
