Nice & Café du Cycliste

For your first spin on the Côte d’Azur, we’ll take a relaxing and relatively flat ride on the coast into Nice. We’ll stop in Café du Cycliste, the iconic cycling café known both for its coffee and stylish cycling clothing. You’ll then ride along the picturesque Coco Beach and into the park of Mont Boron, where absolutely stunning sea views await. We’ll continue to a 16th century fortress at the highest point with more panoramic views, before returning to Saint Paul via the seaside bike path.

Gourdon + Gréolières

This route will take your group up to Vence via the forest of la Sine, and down to Pont du Loup through the charming village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. There, you’ll begin a scenic climb along a canyon and past a spectacular waterfall to Gréolières – a perfect place to stop for coffee and refreshments and soak in the panoramic views. You’ll then ride along a scenic road and down the twisty Col de l’Ecre to the ancient perched village of Gourdon, where you’ll stop for lunch. You’ll finish your ride with a picturesque descent past the town of Bar-sur-Loup and down to La Colle-sur-Loup before returning to Saint-Paul-de-Vence.

Col de Vence + St Jeannet

This route will take your group up to Vence through the forested climb of la Sine. You’ll then ride up the Col de Vence (well-known for its regular appearance in the pro race Paris-Nice) and do a beautiful loop that is featured in the Ironman Nice 70.3 bike course. You can enjoy a coffee and snacks in the lovely perched village of Bouyon, before heading to the charming village of Saint Jeannet for lunch. If you’d like to extend the ride, we can easily add a 23 km loop to the itinerary at Carros Village (see below) and adapt the lunch stop if needed.

5/24 Ride Extension

This is one way to extend the ride with a short and scenic loop from Carros Village. This extension could either be done before the lunch stop in Saint Jeannet, or we could change the lunch stop to Carros Village (but we would need to know in advance to make the appropriate reservations).
