Revère Picnic & Hike

Welcome to your custom excursion page, where you will find information about your walk and your picnic menu, as well as any photos or videos taken during your excursion. Enjoy!

The historic 19th century Fort de la Revère at 696 meters altitude offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the charming villages dotting the landscape. You’ll begin your walk on a path that follows the ridge and offers stunning views around every turn. Along the way, you’ll encounter numerous lookout points and benches, perfect for a leisurely break to soak in the views. When you’re ready to turn around, we can retrace our steps and stop at a picnic spot of your choice. Your lunch will feature local specialties to savour as you enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean backdrop.

At the far end of the path, you can see the village of La Turbie, best known for its Roman statue the Trophy of Augustus, which was built to honor the emperor Augustus in 6-7 BC. The ancient ruins tower majestically over La Turbie and the Mediterranean.
From the fortress and along the path, you'll be able to soak in stunning views of the Riviera coastline and Eze Village perched above the sea. You'll also see the peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and can spot Nice in the distance.
